My name is Silvia Sanasi – I am Associate Professor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management of the University of Bergamo, Italy.
Starting in 2025, I have been serving as Representative-at-Large for the Academy of Management's Strategizing Activities and Practices (SAP) interest group. I am also a faculty member at the Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management, where I teach within executive, corporate, and specializing programs. I also teach Design Thinking at USI - Università della Svizzera italiana.

Prior to joining UniBG, I was Assistant Professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where I taught the course "Design Thinking and Prototyping" in the Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and "Qualitative Research" within the joint Ph.D. Program in Management with the University of Trento.
I am accredited as Associate Professor in Economics and Management and in Management Engineering by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
Prior to joining UniBG, I was Assistant Professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where I taught the course "Design Thinking and Prototyping" in the Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and "Qualitative Research" within the joint Ph.D. Program in Management with the University of Trento.

My PhD dissertation, titled "Business Model Experimentation: A scientific approach to Strategy and Entrepreneurship," was selected as a finalist for the Outstanding Dissertation Award of the Academy of Management's Strategic Management (STR) division.
Between 2020 and 2021, I have been a visiting researcher at the Institute of Innovation Management and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich, Germany.
